This post is in loving memory of our dog Kennedy (nickname "Kenman") who left us today at the wonderful age of 14 years.
This post is dedicated to Kenman, and I hope those of you that knew him will enjoy these photos taken over the last two years.

As you can see, he was a very active guy during the years between 12 and 14!
He was our "big guy" and we'll miss him of course, but we're grateful for the two wonderful years we had with him

and for his long and full life. What a guy!

Kennedy was a Husky/Lab mix with this soft thick cream colored coat, and his signature marking was his one-ear-up-one-ear-down!

He was mostly deaf but had this great soft "indoor voice" bark -- sort of a soft "woof". But he could bark louder with the best of them when he wanted to command attention.
He loved to go for walks on the beach and in the parks where he enjoyed marking on anything within reach (such a guy!).
He enjoyed rides in the car as much as any dog I've ever seen -- he could never lay down because he seemed to be afraid of missing some passing view, so instead he sat in our SUV just behind the

front seats with his little face alternating between enjoying the breeze in the side window with looking out the front windshield to see where we were headed. He was most definitely an adventure hound!
He ate with gusto, never turned down a treat, and was a fanatic about those rawhide chew bones!

He lived every day with an adventurous spirit and generous loving nature that inspired us to do the same.
With love, to our Kenman!
